Here in Middletown I do use the bus for appointments and errands around town. However, I do resent MAT's admonition that I "Have a Nice Day". (a cliche I try strenuously to avoid) I would like to make up my own mind about that! Even urban areas can be good if you can find an oasis of bird habitat here and there.Larryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17955054342034509500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8147631697089273467.post-54438283619247757532012-11-08T09:33:21.417-05:002012-11-08T09:33:21.417-05:00Hi Larry. It's not gonna be useful over here as they are only going to the city, where birdwatching is very limited, but they are trying to extend it. So maybe in the near future ;-)Chrishttp://chrisphotonature.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8147631697089273467.post-52795026071164568002012-11-05T06:44:59.195-05:002012-11-05T06:44:59.195-05:00Cindi-thanks-I can only do so many posts of what b...Cindi-thanks-I can only do so many posts of what birds I saw and where so I try to come at it in different ways.Larryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17955054342034509500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8147631697089273467.post-26494545558087336012012-11-04T19:51:11.444-05:002012-11-04T19:51:11.444-05:00As usual your post is unique, clever & a good ...As usual your post is unique, clever & a good idea!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11648992524079593966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8147631697089273467.post-70801947209862044392012-11-01T17:55:13.875-05:002012-11-01T17:55:13.875-05:00Sarah-Great sighting to have in the middle of down...Sarah-Great sighting to have in the middle of downtown! If more people took advantage of the bus then they might increase the number of buses and extend bus routes to more areas.Larryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17955054342034509500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8147631697089273467.post-44901340041368401802012-11-01T07:06:23.616-05:002012-11-01T07:06:23.616-05:00Excellent post! I take the buses in my city to most of the places that I need to go, and I was rewarded for it when I found a Black-crowned Night-heron in the middle of downtown! Buses are a great form of transportation and I hope more birders start using them in the future!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11805151747307868557noreply@blogger.com
